New institutional members: Politecnico di Milano and Statoil

InterPore is proud to welcome its new institutional members:

The Politecnico di Milano, founded in 1863, is Italy’s largest technical university with about 42,000 students. It is consistently ranked among the top technical universities in Italy and worldwide, particularly in the fields of Engineering, Design, and Technology, including Civil and Environmental Engineering as well as Architecture. The instutional membership was promoted by Faculty members of the University (Alberto Guadagnini, Fabio Inzoli, Monica Riva, and Luca Formaggia) who are already very active in InterPore, including its Italian Chapter.

Another new member stems from the industrial arena: Statoil, the Norwegian multinational oil and gas company, headquartered in Stavanger, Norway and with operations in 36 countries. Both by revenue and by profit, it is considered one of the world’s largest companies. Statoil is also expanding its activities in the renewable energy sector. Your InterPore point of contact is Thomas Ramstad.
