Digital Content

Because we cannot be all of the places all of the time, all presenters at InterPore2023 can upload digital content into Whova for anytime viewing by any of our participants. This includes digital posters and pre-recorded presentations. All content is available for viewing from the online section of the Agenda in Whova.

Detailed instructions on using Whova can be found on the Whova Online Conference Platform page on the conference website.

Instructions for Oral Presentations (In-Person)

  • During the sessions each presenter will give a 10-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A. Stay within the allocated time. This typically means you should not have more than 10 slides. Session chairs will give you a signal after 9 minutes, at which time you should start wrapping up your presentation. Give short answers to questions.

  • Presenters have been emailed instructions for uploading their presentation slides. Please contact us if you have not received this email.

  • All presenters have been sent a link for uploading any digital content, including a digital poster and/or a pre-recorded videos for participants who are unable to attend the live presentation. Please notify us if you have not received this link.

  • Detailed instructions on using Whova can be found on the Whova Online Conference Platform page on the conference website.

Instructions for Poster Presentations (In-Person)

  • Each presenter has been assigned to one of the poster sessions during the conference.

  • Session assignments can be found by navigating to the My Conference section of this website and clicking on the abstract link.

  • Presenters will need to bring their A0-sized poster in vertical (portrait) format.

  • Posters should be put up in the morning and will remain on display the entire day.

  • Presenters of posters should be at their posters during their scheduled poster presentation session. Those who have requested to be considered for the best poster award must be present at their poster during the scheduled poster presentation session.

  • All presenters have the option to upload digital content, including a digital poster and/or a pre-recorded video of their presentation for participants who are unable to attend your poster presentation. Attendees and presenters can use the chat feature in the conference platform Whova to discuss presentations at any time.

  • Presenters have been sent a link from Whova for uploading any digital content they wish to provide. Please notify us if you have not received this link.

Quickly obtain porosity insights from your imaging data

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we strive to provide innovative analytical solutions. For over 20 years, the Thermo Scientific™ Avizo™ Software and Thermo Scientific™ PerGeos™ Software have evolved closely with the scientific community. They provide a reliable, fully automatable, customizable, and easy-to-use software solution so you can innovate faster.

Our software are all-in-one digital labs that allow for the visualization, processing, and quantification of porous materials. Our analytical software enables the detection and classification of various types of porosity, even on images with complex artifacts. Many porosity properties and statistics can be calculated, such as volume fraction, largest ball fitting through a given pore, pore size distribution, pore throat size distribution, pore orientation, shape factor, and other porosity properties. Porosity can be turned into a model, allowing for rapid understanding and exploration of the pore space that features spheres or ellipsoids-and-sticks type visualization with property mapping. Our software also allow the direct calculation of the absolute permeability of the material from the segmented pore space.

Meet our team at InterPore2023 at booth #10 and ask them how our software can help with the challenges you are facing!
