Dear all,
Ten volunteers have answered the call formulated below, and they have decided to form the new steering committee of Interpore Benelux, see the overview in the article above. Therefore, no elections will take place. For the future, regular calls for volunteers will be put out, to keep the steering committee up to date with the ever changing population of porous media researchers in the Benelux.
From the 10 members, Nicolae Tomozeiu and Pieter Verboven have offered to become respectively the Chair and Vice-Chair of the steering committee, and we thank them for their commitment. Finally, the steering committee wishes to express its gratitude towards Steffen Berg, for his efforts as Chair during the last years.

Dear members of Interpore Benelux,
In order to enhance transparency and guarantee continuity of the Interpore Benelux chapter, the Interpore Benelux steering committee (see above) has decided to:
- seek for interested members of the Interpore Benelux chapter to volunteer as steering committee members
- hold formal elections for the steering committee members (the exact mode will be decided based on the number of volunteers)
If you are interested in steering the course of Interpore Benelux more actively, do please consider to volunteer, and approach us via IPBenelux@interpore.org, before the deadline of February 16 2017.
