The annual InterPore conference aims to unite people from diverse disciplines who study and work with porous media. From natural to industrial systems, porous media can be complex. The goal of the annual conference is to bring people together so they can exchange ideas and be made aware of each other’s interests and research activities.

Venue and City

The conference will be held in De Doelen International Congress Centre in Rotterdam, an excellent conference centre with state of the art facilities, providing an excellent environment for as many as 700 participants to meet, discuss, and exchange ideas. It is in the middle of everything that the city can offer, directly connected to a 5-star hotel and very close to a wide range of hotels, restaurants, and attractions in the centre of Rotterdam. It is 25 minutes by direct train from Amsterdam airport and 15 minutes by bus from Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Rotterdam is a cosmopolitan city with modern architecture and lively attractions.

For a formal letter to help you obtaining a visa, please contact the secretary at: secretary@interpore.org and provide the following information:

1. Name as written in the passport
2. Affiliation
3. Abstract ID and title

We have a two letter system:
1. We provide an acceptance letter and ask the applicant to provide a letter from his/her employer indicating that his/her trip is fully covered.
2. After receiving the employer letter, we will provide an invitation letter for participation in the conference.
