Capillarity publishes high-quality original research articles and current reviews on fundamental scientific principles and innovations of capillarity in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science and related emerging fields. All advances in theoretical, numerical and experimental approaches to capillarity in capillary tube and interface dominated structure and system area are welcome.

Capillarity is a monthly open access journal and free to read for all. The journal provides a communicate platform for researchers who are interested in all fields of capillary phenomenon

Earth Energy Science is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and technology in the sustainable development and utilization of subsurface energy resources. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for publishing original research articles, comprehensive reviews, perspectives, and innovative case studies that address fundamental scientific challenges and practical applications within earth energy science and engineering.

Additional spaces have been opened for the Porous Media: From Physics to Art Tour on Monday, 18 May (14:00–18:00). This free excursion combines science, sustainability, and art in Nantes.

Interested participants should contact conference2026@interpore.org.

ONIRIS is one of the governing bodies of the Process Engineering, Environment and Agri-Food research laboratory (GEPEA). Its researchers are part of the MAPS (Matrices and Foods: Processes, Properties and Structure–Sensory) and OSE (Optimisation, Systems and Energy) teams. The two main research objectives of these teams are: i) to adapt and develop innovative processes to optimise products, their functionalities and their life cycle. ii) to develop advanced tools for energy-efficient processes, based on multiscale and multiphysics models, as well as process control and multicriteria optimisation.

Since its launch in 2018 in Wuhan, the CouFrac conference series has evolved into a leading international forum on coupled processes in fractured geological media, with subsequent successful meetings held in Seoul (2020), Berkeley (2022), and Kyoto (2024). Coupled thermal-hydro-mechanical-chemical (THMC) processes in fractured geological media are fundamental to understanding the Earth’s evolution and essential to a wide range of near-surface and subsurface applications.

Tescan is more than an instrument manufacturer. We’re a global team of engineers, scientists, designers, and application experts - building advanced imaging instruments and the solutions around them.

For over 30 years, we’ve helped scientists see deeper with advanced Scanning electron microscopes, Focused ion beam systems, micro-CT, and now 4D-STEM technologies - like our TENSOR platform, the first transmission electron microscope built from the ground up for 4D performance.
