Sent on: 22-03-2026

Today, 20 March, is the last day for early-bird registration!

We encourage early registration to secure your place and take advantage of the discounted rates. We look forward to welcoming you—whether onsite or online—for an engaging and inspiring InterPore2026.

Sign up for one of our 2026 Conference Courses, offered as satellite events of InterPore 2026. Courses will be held in person on Monday, 18 May, the day before the conference begins.

All courses are offered as half-day sessions and are open for registration as part of the conference registration process. The following courses are available:

If you have already completed your conference registration and would like to add a conference course, please contact margaret.dieter@interpore.org.

Join Prof. Nima Shokri (Hamburg University of Technology) on Thursday for an engaging workshop on persuasive grant writing, organized by the Student Affairs Committee. This session will guide participants in crafting strong proposals, aligning with funder priorities, and designing impactful projects.

Ideal for students, PhDs, postdocs, and early-career researchers, the workshop offers practical tools to navigate the funding landscape with confidence. Secure your spot during registration—spaces are limited!

The Research Institute for Mechanics and Civil Engineering (GeM), a joint research unit of Nantes University, Centrale Nantes and the CNRS, promotes technological breakthroughs to improve the durability of materials and structures. Researchers develop novel experimental techniques to measure the permeability of anisotropic and heterogeneous fibrous reinforcements. They also develop non-destructive methods for measuring transient saturation and create numerical models to predict it. During the service life of a structure, materials evolve due to environmental factors and mechanical stresses. Modern structural design codes define the service life of structures as the period of serviceability. This requires controlling the ageing of materials and ensuring the structure has the expected level of reliability throughout its life.

SFB 1313 of the University of Stuttgart will be present at this year’s InterPore Annual Meeting with an exhibition booth, featuring research insights via an interactive format. Stop by, connect and discuss with us!

SFB 1313 is the Collaborative Research Centre on "Interface-Driven Multi-Field Processes in Porous Media – Flow, Transport and Deformation". Visit them at Sonderforschungsbereich 1313 | University of Stuttgart  or on the exhibitor’s floor at InterPore2026.

The AGU Hydrology Section has over 11,000 members, and is composed of 12 technical committees, a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee, and a Student Committee (H3S). The Section is engaged in many initiatives, key among them this year:

  1. The Hydrology sections’ “Bridges to the Future” Celebrates the pillars of our discipline and funds student grants.
  2. Water Resources Research “WRR Translations.” This new collection under the WRR umbrella is dedicated to introducing practicable applications of novel scientific findings in hydrological science.

We acknowledge our Promotional Partners, whose support helps broaden the visibility of InterPore2026 across related communities and networks.

We are pleased to welcome COMSOL as both an exhibitor and Bronze Sponsor of InterPore2026. A leading provider of multiphysics simulation software, COMSOL supports researchers and engineers in modeling complex processes in porous media. We look forward to their contributions to this year’s conference.
