Dear InterPore colleagues,

When working on a multi-scale simulation on a process with heterogeneity at each scale, how do you tell whether the simulated outcome is correct? How to set a benchmark for uncharted territory? I was discussing this with colleagues who insist on validation, while I think some sensitivity analysis of to-be-considered key parameters is the best we can do. When we don't know the answer, we can only exclude ridiculous outcomes... InterPore2028 will mark the 20th anniversary of InterPore and will take place in Maastricht, Netherlands from 9–12 May 2028.

  • Be cautious with unexpected emails, especially those urging you to share personal or financial information.
  • Official InterPore communications always come from an @interpore.org email address.
  • InterPore will never request sensitive or payment information via email.

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from InterPore:

  • Do not click on links or open attachments.
  • Do not provide personal or payment information.
  • Report the message as phishing to your IT department or email provider.
  • If in doubt, contact us directly at info@interpore.org to verify its legitimacy.

In addition to the recently introduced LaTeX template, InterPore Journal now also provides an official MS Word template to support manuscript preparation. Use of either template is recommended but not mandatory, and manuscripts prepared in other formats are still considered if they meet the journal’s submission requirements.

We also remind authors that our APC Waiver Fund is available to support those who require assistance with article processing charges, helping to ensure equitable access to publishing across the InterPore community.
