Understanding data and simulations for flows in porous media

Join us today October 21st, at 16:00 CEST as Professor Jan Martin Nordbotten, University of Bergen, presents a webinar on the topic of "Understanding data and simulations for flows in porous media."

Professor Nordbotten is a mathematician with a strong interest for interdisciplinary collaborations. As early as during his PhD, he worked simultaneously on numerical analysis, while collaborating with environmental engineers on issues related to CO2 storage. Since then, he has established interdisciplinary collaborations in biology (theoretical evolution), ecology (water-plant dynamics), geosciences (multiphase subsurface flows, deformation), biomedicine (image processing, fluid dynamics) and computer science (image rendering).
