About InterPore France

The French Interpore Chapter (FIC) is the French section of the International Society for Porous Media INTERPORE, Established as an independent and non-profit association, the FIC aims at bringing together the French community of researchers and engineers working in the domain of porous media. 

The FIC will promoting activities in this area by several different initiatives including symposia, workshops, a website. for more information see https://franceinterporechapter.fr

InterPore France News

In mid-2021, Advances in Water Resources published a Special Issue titled “Recent Developments in Upscaling and Characterization of Flow and Transport in Porous Media”. This edition was dedicated to Michel Quintard, recognizing his significant contributions to the field. The initiative was spearheaded by the France InterPore Chapter (FIC), and stemmed from a workshop held in Bordeaux on April 15–16, 2019, organized by the FIC.
