InterPore2025 Survey Results
Participants shared thoughtful feedback from both in-person and online experiences, and overall impressions were very positive. While in-person attendees were especially enthusiastic about the event, most online participants also reported a satisfactory experience, though some noted areas where the virtual format still presents challenges. While not without its limitations, online attendance continues to offer valuable access for those unable to travel — and we appreciate everyone who joined us, in person or virtually.
One consistent highlight across both groups was the scientific program, which received high marks for quality and relevance — over 90% rated it “High” or “Very High.”
In-person attendees especially appreciated social events like lunches and excursions. These moments of informal connection were seen as a vital part of the InterPore experience. The Local Organizing Committee also received well-deserved praise for their excellent organization and warm hospitality.
From our online participants, we heard familiar feedback: challenges with engagement, reduced networking, and technical limitations continue to impact the virtual experience. These are long-standing issues that are difficult to fully resolve in a hybrid format. With this in mind, we are currently evaluating how we will approach online participation for InterPore2026.
We were also pleased to see a balanced mix of first-time attendees and long-time InterPore supporters — a strong sign of both growth and loyalty within our global community.
As we look ahead to InterPore2026 in Nantes, we remain committed to delivering world-class scientific content, supporting vibrant in-person interactions, and making thoughtful decisions about how best to include virtual attendees moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback — your insights help shape the future of InterPore!
