Our Nomination Process

Each year, a call for nominations is published on InterPore website, in the InterPore Newsletter, in InterPore social media platforms, and is sent out via email to thousands of researchers and students. Nominations of deserving candidates are collected and are all forwarded to the Honors and Awards Committee. This is a committee made of scientists, who will evaluate the nomination packages and will select the most deserving candidate for each award category. Members of Honors and Awards Committee are all volunteers and do not receive any compensation at all.

The Board of Directors of InterPore Foundation studies the recommendations of the Honors and Awards Committee and judges the soundness of the procedure and will decide whether to accept the nominated awardees. Once accepted, names of awardees will be published in our Newsletter, website, and social media.
The awardees receive their awards and certificate during the annual meeting of InterPore in May.
